The board of directors of the local RC&D council are as follows:

• Jay Wisdom, President - Jay is a local third generation farmer/rancher in Logan County.  Jay and wife Cindy own and operate Wisdom's Natural Poultry.
  
  
• Nellie Zion, Vice-President - Nellie is an educator, local rancher/farmer, and co-owner of a family printing business in Yuma County.
  
  
• Steve Nein, Secretary/ Treasurer - Steve has a farming operation in Sedgwick County and also has banking experience in the area of agriculture.
  
  
• Vince Shively, Member - Vince has worked with many economic development projects including some with other RC&D councils. He currently has a ranching/farming operation in Yuma County.
  
  
• Leo Mailander, Member - Leo is a real estate broker in Holyoke and also owns Subway Sandwich.
  
  
• Ron Kuntz, Member - Ron Kuntz is a farmer with an interest in specialty crops. Ron and wife Bonnie own Tall Plains Laboratory LLC for forage and grain testing.
  
  
• Steve Vogel, Member - Steve is a farmer and with wife Chris own Curves for Women in Sterling and Kearney, Nebraska.
