Keynote Speaker - Scott Campbell – Heritage Tourism Program Manager (9:15 A.M.)

Scott's experience spans the fields of education, not-for-profit administration, program development, community planning and outreach, and heritage tourism. He received MA from Colorado College in 1993, taught history for 5 years, and then began working in the not-for-profit sector where he administered programs promoting alternative transportation and urban livability across the State of Washington. He returned to Colorado to work in heritage tourism at the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center, collaborating on projects with the numerous state and national entities, including the Colorado Historical Society and the National Endowment for the Humanities. As the Heritage Tourism Program Manager for the Colorado Tourism Office, Scott oversees the development of the state's new heritage tourism program--a program launched in partnership with the Colorado Historical Society. He serves as State of Colorado point-of-contact for regional and national heritage tourism efforts and works to integrate these efforts into the evolving state program.
